The Bluths and the Seven Deadly Sins
The Bluth family is not perfect. Like many families, they have their flaws, but the members of the Bluth family embody at least one of the seven deadly sins with the exception of gluttony.

George-Michael is very similar to his father in that he only has one true flaw; his lust for Maeby, who is his cousin... Maybe.

Lindsay is relatively normal compared to the rest of her family, but she is still a greedy person who is not interested in working to help her family while George is in prison. Additionally she is constantly looking for a man that is not Tobias.
Buster Bluth

Buster is a rather emotionally flawed individual, but in terms of the seven deadly sins he is not really a culprit, at least not in comparison to his family. But he can be lazy from time to time.

This is the big one. Lucille Bluth is the best example of the Bluth's embodying the seven deadly sins, embodying five of the seven. She is a greedy person by nature, constantly choosing money before her family. She is envious of others success and lifestyles. She is too proud to be anything less than the Bluths were before they lost all their money. She is the most capable of rage, yelling on multiple occasions throughout the show's run. Finally, she does very little to help the family.

Pride comes before the fall. Michael's only flaw is his pride. He is the most likeable Bluth because he's incredibly hard-working, but there are many instances throughout the show where he is too proud to do something.

G.O.B. is a very flawed man. As such, he embodies four of the seven deadly sins. He's very prideful, incredibly greedy, envious of Michael and those more succesful than he, and is not willing to get a job to support the Bluth family.

Tobias is a very interesting character with an unwavering desire to become an actor, despite being a doctor who could make the family money while the Bluth Company is struggling, but chooses not to. This shows pride and sloth.
George Bluth Sr.

Remarkably, the Bluth that spent the most amount of time in prison does not embody the most seven deadly sins. He is a greedy person, having been the president of a successful company, he spent many years looking to get as much money as he could, without much consideration for his family or others. He is also incredibly prideful.
